You mean you ride in a rubbish truck?
I would say unlikely.....never seen before plus, it makes no sense to get one such unit.

Bok Seng usesĀ quite a bit of MAN.
if i remembered correctly, some prime movers found at telok blangah where the shipping containers are at, are actros..
some shell & esso petrol tankers are oso using actros..
Scanias.....this one still the most unique in terms of sound.
All the Scania types sound the same at idle, from coach to truck.
And no other brands sound like that.
scanias far too common..
i noe colex rubbish trucks use them, cab blue then body yellow..

Up north, quite a number of coaches are the B7s.....actually I'm amazed. That 7 litre engine must be freakin powerful.
but very thirsty confirm..

7 litre shouldn't eat that much fuel compared to its 12 litre cousins.
very hard to say..
most impt is the emissions, did it meet the required standards or not..

A lot of black smoke.
But what I know about the B7 is that it requires fairly high rpm to reach the optimum torque and power. Both figures are quite impressive for its size. Comparable to the bigger engines.
The thing about higher rpm is of course engine life-span and emission. There's always quite a fair bit of soot from B7s going at highway speed.
tsk, i'd rather they care for the environment more..

The other KUB series I've seen all seem much much better than the crappy 230 one we have.
Quite low on noise and emission levels. And very fast.
economy bad so SBST trying to cut costs & save where possible..

When I first took the KUB, my first impression was: No-kick.
Disappointing.
I was expecting something like the B9TL....when I took it on 147 for the first time, it was like WOOOH!!
I've heard positive stuff about the OCs.....waiting for a chance to try them.
As for the lone B7RLE.....I hope it doesn't go so soon....no chance to take for now.
eh, dun 4get to buzz me hor when u wanna go joyriding on the OCs..
i still haven't tried them yet & may wanna snap some pics as well..

I dont have any intentions to try them anytime soon.
And I dont go joyrides....
If I can't get a ride on 8030 before it goes, I'll just weep, curse and swear.
Just like that time they sold the bendies when I was looking at taking them shortly.....KNN!!
ok lor, then since u said like dat, i go by myself..

Taking SMRT for me already considered joyride.
Me still wishes for more L113 and Lance (245 not 211 please) rides....I'm getting sick and tired of getting bendies on those rare occassions.
u mean SMRT trains ah..

Trains dont interest me.
But I enjoy watching the voltmeter needle.
