So I take it as nothing special lar.
Anyway the B9s don't look like they can hold up another 15-16 years....on the whole they don't seem very well-mantained.
aiyah, i posted over at the buses forum on an article from stomp regarding the a/c not working on a b9..
things when new are gd but after some usage it tends to get somewat old..

But the rate at which the B9s are getting worn down is a bit too fast for comfort.
Just 1 month into service....start roaring..
Some are starting to show a bit of problems with gearbox.
Others have not-so-good engines.
come to think of it, its running almost every single day & some trips are long distance..
its either the BCs themselves or with the CDG maintenance pple..

I think it may have to do with the ridiculously tight 6th gear.
Most B9s run around at 5th at unhealthy rpm which is not good for the engine and gearbox.
at most is just breakdown lor..
but pray that you're not in that b9 when it happens..

ZF is more prone to faults.

I kena more than 3 times already I think.
I still remember one was W3E failure on a NAC 0405, another was door failure on a VO3X.

Farking suay!
Both were on my way to school.
The worst was when the train derailed at YCK years ago.
I was forced to take 169 from woodlands to amk!
