Michael Ballack has warned Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti he faces the axe if they do not win silverware this season.
The Blues midfielder, 32, declared: “Maybe it’s not normal, but I think in football, if you play at a big club, expectations are really high.
“Especially so here at Chelsea – and yes, if you are not on top, the weakest part is always the coach and he has to go.”
Michael Ballack says Chelsea should focus on winning the Premiership ahead of the Champions League this season.
He said: “We have to focus on this, that’s for sure. We are really hungry to win the title back.
“We dropped too many points against lower teams last season. But sometimes if you want to be on top you need a little luck.
“Apart from this, Europe is a big target again because we are a big team with a lot of big international players who want to win the Champions League.
“Even if we weren’t in the final, we’re still confident we’re one of the best teams in Europe. To know this is good for the future.”
Roman just wants CL, so just win CL.
Winning CL seems to be easier than winning EPL leh.

but CL shorter and easier... once u passed and keep winning, u win trophy. look chelsea last season so close.
for EPL must really maintain the consistency, which i think this is the hard part.
true also, but cl damn hard to keep winning, lots of top teams from all over europe. whereas epl got teams of lower quality.
cl is something like, only the fittest will survive.
