you know the song "in HIs time"? there is this particular line where it says "He make all things beautiful, in his time" just surrender yourself into God's hands and he will guide you through all these as "there is no problem too big, God cannot solve it"... this might just be some sort trial tt God has set for you and it's thru all these tt we really understand who we are or what our purposes are...Originally posted by saintboy:Its hard to trust God. And because of this my faith in God is shaken terribly. I no longer have the passion to worship. I can only fulfill my responsibilites in church as duties that i have to do. Not because i truly want to do it out of my passion anymore. Why? WHy? wHY?

I don't go to Youth or help out in anything at all.. I have no cell group or whatever... Cus after I moved house, church was soooo far from home, I could only be on time for worship service... and tt's all..
Usually, Im on my own... whenever something happens... I pray on my own... I have christain frens but they're not sumtin like those frens you have in a cell grp.. I only have 1 gd fren who is a christain..
And ever since I joined in the "conversation" in this thread.. Im glad to know that there r many other christains out there... And if i have a prob, i can just seek for guidance here... Thanks so much... -

Well i think you are still encouraged to join a youth group! Provided you are not 30+ or something like that. How far is far? My church at Aljunied leh. If distance is really a problem...then u can consider changing church since u said u didnt serve nor belonged to a cell or in a way u r 'unattached' with the church and its easier to move church. I strongly urge u like wat the rest of us did...u join a cell group with people whom u can identify with...and grow from there. Reading the Word and praying are mandatory means to grow closer with God....we christians dont practice chanting, nor eastern meditations...so our ways of cultivating ourselves is throught listening to Him (Bible) and speaking to Him (prayer)....we also think about Him (meditate on His word).....I have a fren..he stays in Pasir Ris but his church is at Woodlands.......Originally posted by *evanesence*:erm.. I agree with Neontatra... if it's a real hassle, move to somewhere new. When you are not connected to a church and if your foundation is not strong, chances are you'll slip away. With christian friends around, you are always talking about God somehow and thus you can never run away. So find a church you are comfortable with and get involved, one near your home. I've been staying at Woodlands and am finding our church (in tow) a bit too far. yeah .. *evanesence* . I know its really hard to wake up so early. My youth service in afternoon so still okay. If you need we can help you ask around for some churches in whichever area (eg. east, north etc) or ask around for you.
